I am going threw a legal battle right now my attorney said that it usually takes 9 month’s to a year to get a settlement and longer if you have to court. you should really be trying to keep the attorney up dated, i was asked by my attorney to contact her every time i go to the doctors or see a new doctor just to keep her up dated. if your attorney is not getting back to you, you should think about getting a new one. Good luck on everything.

my car accident happened in Sept. and the hospital put a lein on my amount there. The ambulance billed me immediately and said they didn’t wait for medical settlements. It was on it’s way to collections when the amount was paid off. It took until the end of January for all bills to be summed up.

There is no normal time. I was rearended by a truck while sitting in traffic. It took six years for me to get a settlement. I was a claims adjuster at the time and knew the ropes.
