So I accidentally slammed my rats tail in the cage door, there is a tiny flap of loose skin, no blood, it is very tiny but she seems to be in a bit of pain. If you saw the injury you wouldn’t think it needed a vet.
But is it ok to put a dab Neosporin Plus Pain Relief on her tail?

Depressing question, but I’m trying to do background research for a story, and my online searching hasn’t really helped. The minor character in question would be elderly, have a terminal illness and unable to gain much relief from pain management. I have had genital herpes for 20 years. The very first outbreak was bad, but then it got to the point I rarely ever had one. I recently had a major surgery and after they removed the catheter, I have this huge blown outbreak of herpes and it’s killing with the pain and swelling. I need relief. Help!!
